Who are we?
BLIC is an independent, employee-run company. We are engineers, communications technicians, computer scientists, transport planners and economists with many years of professional experience. For you, this means that you work with experts who apply their knowledge and experience independently, across systems and in an interdisciplinary manner.
What can we do for you?
With our large, highly qualified interdisciplinary team, we are ideally positioned to achieve our major goal: sustainable solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.
With digital expertise, system expertise and strategic expertise, we implement your specifications in word and deed: As we develop the concepts, as project managers and planners we implement them. For you, this means that we can get involved in a project at a very early stage - and stay involved until the very end.
We also invest our knowledge and expertise in committee work and research projects to help shape the foundations for mobility.
Our values
We value fairness, work as a team with social skills, work with transparency in communication, are curious about new things, take responsibility, treat each other with openness and honesty, have fun at work, show respect & work together with appreciation with the people involved in the task.
We place great value on maintaining and continuously developing our quality. The basis of our quality management is, among other things, regular certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.

BLIC History
BLIC was founded in 1989 as a consulting start-up for IT solutions for transport in Berlin. With the fall of the Berlin Wall in the same year and the resulting convergence of East and West and the simultaneous emergence of the first real wave of digitalisation through the introduction of digital mobile communications and affordable digital networks, BLIC's areas of responsibility and geographical activity grew rapidly. In 1999, BLIC founded a branch in Dusseldorf to help shape the future with mobility for all in the highly networked and most populous federal state. In 2023, BLIC opened another branch in Hamburg.
With project activities abroad, BLIC also has branches in Delaware, WA, USA, Dubai, UAE and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
BLIC also maintains other project-related offices in order to improve local customer communication and task processing. We were present in Stuttgart & Magdeburg and are now present in Karlsruhe & Leipzig.
