Conception and evaluation of an in-house ITCS
Project description
At the start of the project, infra was using DB Regio's ITCS as its client. This solution was implemented in 2018/2019 under great time pressure as part of the process of becoming an independent transport company. DB Regio's ITCS was planned and introduced around 10 years earlier as a system for regional transport companies.
Requirements for modern urban transport (" ÖPNV 4.0") with integrated system solutions, including for e-buses, can only be implemented to a limited extent and with a great deal of coordination and time.
Service description
Based on an analysis of the current situation and the market expertise of BLIC GmbH, a rough planning of the options "continuation and further development of the existing client solution" and "procurement of an in-house ITCS" is carried out. The variants are then compared and evaluated in terms of fulfilment of the requirements matrix, cost-effectiveness and, if necessary, other criteria
