DFI in the MVV network area
Project description
Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund GmbH (MVV) is realising an ambitious project for network-wide passenger information together with the eight districts in the network. The plan is to procure a central background system and around 1,000 displays in four designs. The joint approach is expected to lead to economies of scale in terms of investment and simplified procedures through joint maintenance services.
Service description
BLIC is entrusted with the realisation of the project. In addition to acquiring funding, this includes planning, Europe-wide tendering and system implementation for the first pilot systems as well as the civil engineering sample planning and overall project coordination.
Special requirements are the planned open interfaces, which also enable the system to be expanded at a later date.
