Project description

In order to further increase the attractiveness of public transport for local users, but also for domestic and foreign tourists, existing sales systems are to be replaced by modern sales systems. The stationary vending machines (lot 1) and the sales technology in the service centre (lot 2) of Jenaer Nahverkehr (JNV) will be replaced and supplemented for commission merchants. In addition, the range of services will be expanded so that customers can, for example, pay their rent and energy costs via the ticket machines in the Jenaer Nahverkehr service centre.

The main aim of the new sales technology is to improve the range of services when purchasing a ticket at a stationary ticket machine or in the service centre, which is valid for Jena or the entire area of the Central Thuringia Transport Association (VMT). The wide range of payment options means that all customer requirements (including those of tourists) are covered.

The VDV-KA and the PKM are used for the realisation of the stationary vending machines. In a second stage of the project, the person-operated sales systems will also be converted to use the VDV-KA product module.

Service description

The project is the continuation of the project "Procurement of new sales technology for Jena". This contract will accompany the specification phase and the factory acceptance test for LOT 1 stationary ticket vending machines (sFAA) and for LOT 2 passenger-operated sales technology in the service area (PBV).
