Project description

Continuation of the B2025 project (same topic). Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) is a term that has not yet been uniformly defined. In general, MaaS systems combine several mobility service providers (MSPs) on one platform or in one app. This gives the user the opportunity to be intermodally mobile within one app.

The project aims to conceptualise a MaaS system based on the VBB's mission statement. The concept is to be clearly defined and specifically adapted to previously defined target groups. The MaaS system should offer added value for the user and be perceived as a genuine alternative. The system serves to strengthen public transport and sharing services with a focus on regional services in Brandenburg.

Service description

Based on the results obtained so far (B2025) for the existing offer, weaknesses and strengths can be derived in relation to the company's own mission statement and the requirements for a future mobility platform.

In addition, concrete connection agreements must be made with the mobility partners that are currently and will be in use in the network area. This also includes clarifying the connection of a platform such as BBNavi to the VBB.
