Procurement of app and web interfaces for GVH (Großraum-Verkehr Hannover) GmbH

The Hannover Region (RH) has been operating the electronic timetable information system EFA from MENTZ since 1990 and makes it available to its partners - such as ÜSTRA and the transport association "Verkehrsverbund Großraum-Verkehr Hannover", GVH - via a web service.
BLIC plans to procure a comprehensive revision of the interfaces of gvh.de, uestra.de, regiobus.de and the GVH app for RH while retaining the core EFA system. The procurement is being carried out as part of a competitive dialogue. As a central component of passenger information in the network area and beyond its borders, the information interfaces are to be comprehensively modernised. The existing range of functions is to be retained as a minimum, supplemented by new functionalities and continuously developed in line with technological progress. Particular emphasis will be placed on an innovative and user-friendly interface.
The aim is to implement a system that provides clear and up-to-date connection information intuitively, i.e. quickly and conveniently. The integration of an online shop is also planned. The procurement procedure comprises the realisation of the interfaces including the connection to the peripheral systems as well as software maintenance over a period of 5 years.
