RoboShuttle - Mannheim
Project description
The Blue Village concept in FRANKLIN integrates an innovative transport concept into Mannheim's urban development. Automated driving with a mini-bus (on-demand operation) serves to develop the complex with a connection to the city railway.
The preliminary project serves to gather and validate initial practical experience in operating the innovative technology as well as to reach a broad public and involve future users and employees in the preparations for the start of regular operations.
Based on the findings of the preliminary project, a decision will be made on the organisation of future operations, also taking into account the need for further research, development and innovation.
