Project description

ESWE Verkehrs GmbH and Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) are jointly replacing the existing stationary ticket vending machines (FAA) in their transport area, which were put into operation between 1995 and 1999 and are no longer state of the art.

The planning objective was to facilitate the sale of tickets for passengers. In order to make this possible and to be able to implement further services in the future, it was necessary to replace the existing FAA with new, state-of-the-art machines.

To this end, a concept was drawn up for equipping around 100 modern, vandal-proof ticket vending machines with touch-screen displays, cash and cashless payment and an online connection to a background system. The contract included implementation planning, awarding the contract as part of a Europe-wide invitation to tender as well as support during the specification review, system introduction and acceptance and auditing of invoicing.

Service description

Supplementary preliminary planning, implementation planning, preparation of contract award, participation in contract award, construction supervision.
